Narconon South Texas began operation in 2004 as an outpatient program in a single-wide mobile home with only one student. As the word got out, we soon moved to a small two bedroom house. We began to grow and moved to a 5 bedroom home and then to a duplex, where we tore down the walls to connect the two apartments. In the middle of 2007, 17 acres were purchased outside of Harlingen that already had a 3 bedroom home. Additional buildings were added including a 4,500 sq. ft. technology center. We opened that facility in May of 2008. Narconon South Texas now services up to 20 students on premises. Our goal is to expand into a 100 bed facility in the future. Narconon South Texas is unique among North American Narconon centers in that it can deliver the Narconon Program in both English and Spanish.

Our trained and caring staff is dedicated to saving people‟s lives that have been destroyed by the effects of drug and alcohol abuse. By applying Narconon’s effective drug rehabilitation technology together we can help rebuild self-reliance and the foundations for a drug-free life. Our sole function here at Narconon is to effectively get people off and stay off of drugs and/or alcohol. We help people to grow into living a productive and happy life; it is something we do each day. This is our purpose. Every staff member here is committed to this end and will help in every way possible in order to achieve it.
